This Privacy Policy explains how Mike Mobbs (“I,” “me”) collects, uses, and protects your information when you use mikemobbs.com. By using the site, you agree to this policy.

Information I collect

Information you provide. When you contact me, subscribe to the newsletter, request a resource, or book a session, I collect what you submit — typically your name, email address, and any details you include, such as your role, company, what you’re working on, or preferred dates.

Payments. Paid sessions are processed by Stripe. I do not see or store your full card or bank-account details; Stripe handles payment information directly under its own terms.

Automatically. I use Vercel Web Analytics, a privacy-friendly service that measures site traffic without cookies and without collecting personal data. I also measure anonymous reading time and scroll depth on each article to understand which writing resonates; this uses no cookie, stores no identifier, and honors the analytics opt-out. Separately, I use Sentry to capture technical errors so I can fix them, which may include limited technical data about your request.

How I use your information

• Schedule, confirm, and follow up on sessions
• Process payments for paid sessions
• Send Field Notes, my newsletter, if you have subscribed (you can unsubscribe at any time)
• Maintain and improve the site

Service providers

I share information only with the providers that help operate the site, each acting on my behalf: Supabase (database), Amazon SES (email delivery and newsletter), Stripe (payments), Google Calendar (scheduling), Sentry (error monitoring), and Vercel (hosting and analytics). I do not sell your information.

Cookies

The site uses minimal cookies and sets no tracking cookies. Vercel Web Analytics is cookieless. If you choose to exclude your visits from analytics on the analytics opt-out page, the site sets a single preference cookie so that choice sticks; it contains no identifier and is used for nothing else. Stripe may set cookies during checkout to process your payment securely.

Data retention

I keep your information only as long as needed to provide these services and to meet legal or accounting obligations, then delete it.

Your choices

You can unsubscribe from the newsletter using the link in any email. To access, correct, or delete the information I hold about you, email me at mikemobbs@gmail.com.

Children

The site and services are intended for adults and are not directed to children.
